Chocolate Campaign 2020/2021

Healthy & Affordable is a project geared towards making a change in the food system, specifically to save food from being wasted, which is a major problem in our society both from a humanitarian and environmental perspective.

Our inspiration for this campaign originated from the huge amounts of  chocolate surplus around the Christmas season. This is because of their specific packaging - it cannot be sold outside of the holiday season and it may spoil before the next Christmas a year later. As an organisation that focuses on minimizing  food waste we feel like it’s our duty to act on the chocolate surplus.

In 2020 and 2021 we are launching The Chocolate Campaign which aims to collect as much chocolate surplus as possible and transform it into delicious snacks. This way the chocolate that would otherwise be wasted because of it's specific packaging can have a second life!
